I am a retired EE. I am impressed with most of the build quality, most. I have had some problems with the Emergency shut off switch. I seems to affect the air assist in some way. Sometimes the pump will not come on if the cover/Emergency swithc are not in exact postiion. The pump would not come on at all when I had reattached the hood. Reattaching a second time allowed it to come on but I am not sure all the bugs are out yet. The hood seems to work well but attaching it to the frame was non trivial.

I have a Creality CR-10 3d printer I bought years agojj and it's been treating me great!! So why not try the Creality Falcon2 PRO 40 watt laser engraver\cutter?
I did my homework and research and have heard nothing but great things about this piece of equipment. My order was fulfilled within about 36 hours, it was shipped on a Monday & I received it the following Tuesday. It was a day late but that was Fedex's fault.
Packaging was absolutely perfect!! Lots of foam to protect my investment. I checked each item out and all was good! I immediately started assembly and it really couldn't have been any easier. (more on this in a bit).
I fired it up after assembly and it worked as it should. I followed the directions provided on the camera set up & it took me a little longer then I thought so I referred to a video on YT on how to set it up and that helped a lot!!
The assembly time took about 1 hour.
The laser is a lot more powerful then I was expecting and I've been putting it through its paces. I haven't tried the PRECISION mode yet (22 watt) but looking forward to that. Also I haven't tried the 1.6 watt module yet that was included with my package.
The exhaust fan is very powerful. A lot more powerful then I was expecting. I'll be building an exhaust out of my shop to help with that.
Onto a couple of "dings" but nothing that would really subtract from the 5 stars I gave it.
The directions are a little lacking. They say to put it together with the included screws, but not really which ones. There was a little baggy of screws and a number of screws in the provided tool case which I really didn't even use. Not sure what those are for. It's not explained in the manual.
The one thing I will probably be doing is moving the fan to the right side of the case to move it out of the way. To do that I'll have to take the fan assembly off, reverse it and put it on the other side. No big deal because Creality put a notch on the top for the camera usb port so I'll be good. Again, not a bad thing. Just something I'll have to do.
Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase!! I hope to be adding the air filtration unit soon after I make some sales with this so I can move the unit indoors.

Works amazing super easy setup fun to use I love it

This machine was very easy to assemble. It has engraved and cut wonderful. Going from a 10W to the 60W you really notice the power and speed.
