Never buy a Creality Product, Sent untested non-working unit, Delayed Support, Delayed Refund. BAD!!
Purchased a brand new LaserEngraver with all accessories. Received a non-working unit which is throwing back a critical error that a laser is not working? Chat support was great but the Support from the technicla teams was very delayed. They expect the customer to open the unit and replace a laser part. No local Australia Service centre. No local repair possible. They only have a Australian warehouse but no capability to honor the repair warrantly. Requested a refund but not getting any response. Bad service, Bad broken products, Sent untested. Customers will suffer. Australian Buyers beware If there is a breakdown, you are talking to tech support in China and there is no one local to help or fix your problem. Stay away from this brand. Very disappointed.

Love Potion – glass engraving experiment
Been playing with glass engraving and decided to try a potion bottle for Valentine’s.
Single-pass engraving on glass, dyed water with mica inside, and a lot of experimenting to see what actually makes the design pop.
Big takeaway: glass really needs a double pass next time for extra depth and contrast and I have a few more ideas to make designs pop.

I bought the A1 Pro with the extra 2W IR laser for an exceptionally discounted price (both items on a flash sale for $1305au delivered). Its well packaged and easy to setup. Falcon Design Space connecting to the A1 Pro was not clear, but eventually figured out not clicking the connect button, but instead the wifi icon first, then the device's IP (I'm on Mac os X) and was etching and cutting with the results i was expecting within an hour of unpacking. Definitely needs goggles if you intend to watch the cutter as the orange shielding panels are not enough for eye protection, dont watch the cut/etching process as if its a 3d printer as your eyes will ache after 30 seconds or so. Otherwise, this is a fantastic entry into etching and basic materials cutting.
